Create a New Voice Clone During Prooflistening
Learn how to create a new voice clone directly while working on a project if the default voice does not meet your quality or performance expectations.
Crete new voice clone
Step 1. Open the Speakers tab
Go to the Speakers tab in the current task.
Step 2. Open clone settings
Find the cloned voice you want to change.
Click the gear icon next to the cloned voice.


Step 3. Select better source chunks
Choose chunks that:
Contain clean, isolated speech
Have minimal background noise or echo
Avoid excessive pitch variation (unless required)

Step 4. Generate a new clone
Create a new clone using the selected chunks.

Step 5. Review the result
Click Use this voice clone if it sounds better, or
Create another clone from different chunks if needed.
Step 6. Save in the library
If you want to reuse a cloned voice beyond the current task, save it to your voice library.

Using Multiple Voice Clones for Better Emotional Performance
Learn how to use multiple voice clones for the same speaker to improve emotional delivery, tone variation, and overall voice performance across different parts of a video.
When this is useful for:
Problematic chunks (e.g. strong accent, unclear pronunciation)
Different emotional states (angry, calm, sad, excited)
Tone variation across different parts of the video
Step 1. Add additional speakers
Go to the Speakers or Script tab.
Add new speakers matching the correct gender of the character.

Step 2. Name speakers clearly (Optional)
Use descriptive names to indicate purpose, for example:
Speaker ExcitedSpeaker Disappointed
Step 3. Assign speakers to chunks
Assign the new speaker codes to the relevant chunks.
Make sure each speaker has more than one chunk assigned to enable cloning.
Step 4. Save and refresh
Save progress.
If needed, refresh the page to ensure all changes are applied.
Step 5. Create clones for each speaker
Generate cloned voices from chunks that represent the desired emotion or tone.
Step 6. Review and select
Listen to each clone:
Use the one that best fits the scene, or
Create additional clones from different chunks if necessary.
Switch from a library voice to a cloned voice
Can I replace a library voice with a cloned voice during Prooflistening or Lip-sync?
Yes.
How to do it
Open the Speakers tab in the Prooflistening or Lip-sync task.
Select the cloned voice instead of the library voice.
Save your changes.
