Uploading Custom Scripts

Uploading original script during project creation

1. Go to Projects and click Create new project.

2. In the project creation window, scroll to Original transcript.

3.Upload the transcript file.

4. For SRT and VTT files, the data is parsed automatically.

For XLSX and CSV files, select the columns that match the project fields. Text and Start time are required.

Text β€” dialogue or narration text.

Start time β€” start time of the cue.

End time β€” end time of the cue.

Speaker name β€” speaker name, if available.

Speaker ID β€” speaker identifier, if available, for example M0 or F0. M stands for male, F stands for female, and the number is the unique character identifier.

If a parameter is not present in your file, leave the corresponding field empty.

  1. Select how timings and speakers should be handled.

Note

If Auto-detect is selected for either Timings or Speakers, both options are selected automatically.

At the moment, timing detection and speaker detection are part of the same AI processing step and cannot be run separately.

  1. Click Continue

  2. On the next page, open the Script tab to review the imported content. Edit column values if needed.

  1. Open the Speakers tab to add speaker names or update Voice profile values.

Voice profiles are used to select voices automatically when the Voice selection step is automated.

  1. Click Preview to check the script settings before uploading the file.

  1. Click Upload

Upload an original or translated script in a task

An original script can also be uploaded directly in a Transcribing task.

A translated script can be uploaded in Translation, Proof-listening, or Lip-sync tasks.

How to upload a script in a task

  1. Open the task.

  2. Click the three-dot menu.

  3. Select Replace script.

  1. Upload the file.

  1. Select how timings and speakers should be handled.

  2. Make edits if needed.

  1. Review the comparison before replacing the script.

  1. Note: In Transcribing task click the lock icon to keep timings and speakers from the uploaded script.
